The FireAngel FA6620-R is a smoke detector designed for residential use. This device is compatible with both hardwired and wireless alarm systems, providing flexibility for installation.

Heat Alarms (Kitchen Alarms): Heat alarms are the only alarm suitable for use within the kitchen as they’re not affected by cooking fumes like traditional smoke alarms. Over 60 Percent of fires start in the kitchen, with cooking and faulty white goods (fridges and tumble driers) being the main causes. FireAngel recommend a heat alarm is fitted in the kitchen, but you can also fit additional heat alarms in the garage and loft to protect these areas. Our FA6620-R Optical Smoke Alarm is certified to the European Standard EN 14604 and comes with a sealed, tamper proof battery that will last the lifetime of the alarm. The sensor within the unit will deteriorate after 10 years, so to ensure you’re protected we recommend you replace the unit after this time.

The FireAngel FA6615-R optical smoke alarm is powered by 2 x AA replaceable batteries designed to power the alarm for 5 years, preventing the need for regular replacement. Featuring a quieter self-test mode which is activated via a single press of the test / hush button (10dB lower than the full alarm output) to make weekly testing easy, this alarm allows low battery warnings to be silenced for up to 8 hours with the Sleep Easy function. The FA6615-R can also be used to replace your existing FireAngel ST-622 when it reaches its end of life as both alarms use the same base plate.
